Charlie Brown is a Managing Partner at Lindsey & Company, Inc, a retained executive search firm assisting companies with the identification, assessment,
and selection of outstanding executive talent. Before joining Lindsey & Company, Charlie worked for 35 years in the financial services industry. For most of
his career he worked for Johnson & Higgins and Marsh and McLennan in New York and Richmond, where he was an officer in the financial and professional services group.
Charlie has extensive experience in analyzing corporate business risk and negotiating pricing and coverage on behalf of clients. He has also worked to provide
creative risk management solutions in response to corporate restructuring. Charlie has extensive involvement in the recruitment and training of new executives
throughout his career.
Charlie began his career at Manufacturers Hanover Trust Company in New York where he handled the bank's business in the National Division, Southern District of the USA.
Charlie graduated from Hampden-Sydney College. He and his wife Laura have three grown children.
